The geothermal areas of Yellowstone include several geyser basins in YEllowstone National Park as well as  other geothermal features such as hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles. the number of thermal features in there is estimated at 10, 000 and 200 to 250 geysers erupt in yellowstone each year, making it the place with thw highest concentration of active geysers in the world.(http:www. wikepedia.com/)


We drove from Seattle to Yellowstone National Park. We passed by 3 states: Washington,Idaho, Montana.
It took 18 hours by car.


There are Yellowstone airport if you travel by airplane.
You can find hotels and restaurants in West Yellowstone villige that located in the west-side gate of the park.
It cost 25 dollars to enter the park. This entrance ticket can use 7 days for Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton  National Park.  THey also have many hotels inside of the park.

we had stayed 3 days in there,
It need 4 days at least.

As soon as we arrived to the park, there are many dead trees.
Because of big fire in 1988, the park appeared as deserted and desolated.
So, the park examine how make recover the park like before.
Closing the Yellowstone National Park about 50 years to public is constantly insisted from experts.
I'm okay because I already have been there.

Due to many geyser, I thought I'm on the Moon or Mar

 It really boil up fearfully.

 I felt this hole must be connect to the center of the earth.

Too sudden
I remind springs in Japan. They make some boiled eggs for tourist. That's very delicious.
The Yellowstone National Park have to try this program for tourists.

Grand prismatic spring

The color was similar to rainbow.

I thought it was computer graphic at first time.

Artistic point 

It is so called as Grand canyon in yellowstone.

The size is not as much as Grand canyon but colors are sooooo pretty.

Buffalo

It is the first time to see buffalo.

They don't care about people or car.

Their mass are huge but can make speed until

They looks very slow because of their lethargic movements, but buffalo can run as fast as 35 miles per hour(56 km/h). The park notice "Don't be stay outside when you see buffalo."

Mommoth hot springs

There is not much water anymore on the terrace because the direction of underwater changed.

The road of the Yellowstone National Park shape 8 and connect with the Te ton National Park. 

 

Old faithful Geyser

For kids

Because of many geyser, wearing socks and sneakers are recommendable.

Sunset in the park is so early and getting cold drastically.
Bring your child's wind jacket. Thin one isn't enough to make warm your child.

There are many camping grounds those are pretty well equipped and harmony with beautiful scene.

While dad enjoyed fly fishing, Mom was knitting, their two girls were drawing.
